The Chalkboard Wall Workspace

The Chalkboard Wall Workspace

Over on Flickr, Razan sent in her workspace, where she handles her day job, her passion (photography), and of course, where she relaxes. The space also has to double has her bedroom, so space is a premium—but check out that chalkboard wall. Here are some more photos.

First, let’s hear how Razan describes her workspace. She says:

My home office plays triple duty: Day job (IT), side gig (photography), and bedroom. The dual screens are my remote workstation for my IT / software analyst job. On the left, the Dell all-in-one is my editing computer for photography. I am an interior design and architectural photographer. I’ve got my Canon photo printer under my IKEA desk. My DSLR and some equipment is stashed in the drawer. The rest is piled in a corner for the moment. In the background is a recently painted chalkboard wall that I love.

Aside from the bedroom being large enough to accommodate a nice office, this is all good use of space. The IKEA Markus desk chair is a good one too, and while she doesn’t mention it, it’s pretty comfortable and not too expensive (in fact, you guys loved it.)

Here’s another shot of the space, face-on to the primary desktop, and that slick Logitech headset there:

And here’s another shot of the wide side of the chalkboard wall that you can’t see in the first shot. All in all, it’s a great setup, and using the chalkboard wall for quick notes is obviously something we can appreciate.

If you like Razan’s workspace, make sure to head over to Flickr and let her know you dig her setup at the link below.

If you have a workspace of your own to show off, share them with us by adding it to our Lifehacker Workspace Show and Tell Flickr pool. Make sure any photos you include are at least 1280×720. Keeping them to 16:9helps, too! Include a little text about the stuff you used, how you came up with the design, and any other relevant details. If your clever organization and good design sense catches our eye, you might be the next featured workspace!
