“My family and I are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from so many people who have touched our lives during these past few days,” Celine wrote. “We have felt your love for René, and your prayers and compassion have helped us during this most difficult time… more than you’ll ever know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

“We will never forget all of the kindness that you have bestowed upon us.”
Celine penned the letter on behalf of herself and her three sons
Celine’s beloved husband of 21 years was laid to rest in a public funeral held at the Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal on 24 January, with her eldest son giving a moving eulogy to his father during the televised service.
The following day Celine paid her final respects to her older brother Daniel at a private memorial service. However the mum-of-three was said to be too grief-stricken to attend his funeral service on Monday, with a source revealing that she felt unable to go through any more public mourning.
“Her heart is in pieces. She’s extremely heartbroken,” a source told People.
Despite her devastating grief, the brave singer has confirmed that she will resume her Las Vegas performances on 23 February.
